Currency

The official currency is the euro, as in the rest of the Spanish territory.
There are coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, in addition to coins of 1 and 2 euros.
There euro notes of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500.

Gratuities

Although they are discretionary, there is the custom of leaving something of a tip, in bars, restaurants and catering service personnel

Schedules

• Business Hours: Schedules are usual 9.30 to 13.30 and 17.00 to 20.00. However supermarkets and shopping centres are generally open from 9.30 am to 21.30. Some Sundays or holidays these centers also opened its doors to the public.

• Places of entertainment: The most popular entertainment centres as pubs, bars and nightclubs are usually open almost the whole week until 3.00 or 4.00 in the morning.
