The official currency is the euro, as in the rest of the Spanish territory.
There are coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, in addition to coins of 1 and 2 euros.

Schedules
• Business Hours: Schedules are usual 9.30 to 13.30 and 17.00 to 20.00. However supermarkets and shopping centres are generally open from 9.30 am to 21.30. Some Sundays or holidays these centers also opened its doors to the public.
• Places of entertainment: The most popular entertainment centres as pubs, bars and nightclubs are usually open almost the whole week until 3.00 or 4.00 in the morning.

Pets
People who want to travel to the Canary Islands with their pets, should ensure, in advance, that the accommodations that have chosen this option is permitted and which comply with the requirements of entry into Spain.
